the Classic nanaCompany Baby Bib

the Classic nanaCompany Baby Bib

The pattern was drawn up in 2008. I made it countless times for my kids, so in 2014, I finally shared the pattern. It's a classic. I love the "Mia" ruffle bib as well, but that's very tiny and dainty and makes a lovely drool catcher. This is my classic bib pattern... it's great for either boy or girl, features an easy snap closure, and has a larger neck shawl that provides better coverage at meal time. Here's a few of the bibs I made back then...

And here is a bib I made in record time, despite making lots (LOTS) of mistakes in the process (okay, so I didn't plan the patchwork and I tried the quilt-as-you-go method, but I've never done it before and I just figured I'd wing it -> I couldn't. Will have to watch a quick video before next round). Also, this bib was made using my new fabric collections with Art Gallery Fabrics... they are called Minimo, and some new additions to my Les Petits basics line. These fabrics are popping up in stores now... and honestly, aren't they so cute?

This is a great beginner sewing project and a fun quick finish for those who crave some instant gratification.

I also have one more bib pattern that can be found in my first book "Sweetly Stitched Handmades". You will be able to get a signed copy in my store by next week, or you can order off Amazon.

Either way... Happy sewing!  And don't forget to tag me or reach out somehow if you sew something up using any of our free (or not free) patterns. Makes me so happy!
